Contributing To Your Wealth

The word contribution has been popping up in a lot of my reading & audio’s that I’ve been listening to lately.

I’m sure it’s not by accident either.

Have you ever given specific thought to what it means to contribute?

A bigger & much deeper question is have you given consideration to what your contribution to the world is?

More importantly have you thought about what it “feels like” after you have contributed something of value
to someone?

If you haven’t and you’re still a little fuzzy about what I’m talking about go over to www.billphillips.com
and watch the 5 videos on Bill’s home page and tell me you aren’t at least inspired to contribute. (Or even
change your lifestyle) I guarantee you will be clear when you’re done.

No seriously, I’m not play’n here. Go to Bill’s site right now, watch the videos and come back and read the rest…

…Ok…now how do you feel right now?

If you don’t believe Bill is contributing value to peoples lives and inspiring them to a new kind of wealth then
you missed the train.

Since you watch the videos I’d like you to put yourself in Bill’s shoes right now and imagine the amazing
feelings of gratitude and contribution he must feel every time he meets one of these people.

Is it really good “marketing” on his part? Obviously it is.

But capturing on film the amazing spirit and emotion of each one of these peoples struggles, challenges
and how they over came them is nothing short of amazing.

I admit I teared up with emotion more than once because it touched my heart how Bill helped inspire each one
of these individuals to find their greatness and peruse it with fervent passion.

The Power of Contribution

One of the 6 emotional primary drivers of all people is contribution. It’s one of the needs of the spirit.
To feel fulfillment you and I must feel that we have contributed to something bigger than ourselves.
With out it you and I are literally self serving ourselves with emptiness.

Kind of like eating food but still ending up malnourished.
I believe because so many people miss this key ingredient in life that it’s one of the main reasons for drug use,
alcoholism, porn addiction & obsessiveness. It’s only my opinion but I believe because people neglect their spirit
and only focus on the physical, they attempt to fill that emptiness with “something.”

I know because I had done it for years and still at times struggle with it.

Health, Wealth & Spirit

With out any one of the three I have a hard time believing I’m reaching for my true potential with my
full resources at hand.

When I started this blog I had on my mind to focus on social media, internet marketing and other things related to making a living online. And I will continue to go that route even more.

However I’ve always had and always will have the underlying theme of spiritual marketing and personal development woven in. Marketing in general is about understanding your market, the people and their behaviors that drive them to purchase.

It’s also about contribution & providing value.

At it’s very core, the amount of joy we receive from our success is relevant to the quality of our relationship with ones self.“-Me

You have probably noticed that my own personal journey of self awareness is basically documented through out
these pages and I simply share with you my own personal experiences and tools that help me. I’ve always done this will all of my blogs.

That is why I stress your journey may be different. Your experiences may be different but if you gain value
and clarity from what I share then I feel I have yes, contributed something. :-)

Contribution is what I feel when I share these experiences and it touches someone so much that they email me
and share with me how it’s impacted their lives. (Or comment here on the blog)

I love what Steve Pavlina says about how you can measure value because before hand I thought I could only
measure value in dollars.

You can also measure value based on “other peoples results and those results don’t have to be just money.

Read that again because it’s that powerful.

When someone emails me about how a certain post not only touched them but also share with me a
specific “result” they obtained from the information….That my friends is a powerful contribution on their part.

If you look back at Bill Phillips video’s that I recommend you view immediately you’ll see the people
he has inspired and impacted have clearly defined results, physically and spiritually.

I’m myself inspired to a whole new level of wealth today because not only am I expecting more of a contribution
from my self but from you.

That’s right.

I love my emails from you and comment to these posts.

I know my content must be “that good” that I am able to make an impact on your awareness so your journey
to a new way of wealth is that much more fun. :-)

Contribution In Action

Your mission should you choose to except is:

  • Find your special gifts and talents that you were given at birth.
  • Find a way to make an impact on someone every day with those gifts.
  • Work on yourself & your gifts every day for at least 15 minutes i.e. through reading or listening to audios.
  • (It’s because of my personal development studies I found myself even writing this today)

All in all, find a way to contribute & give back. Your everyday story you tell yourself will have a lot to do about taking this action.

The Christian philosophy of tithing is attributed to contribution and that is a great place to start if you’re
not clear on what your “gifts” are just yet. Tithing “is” important to your financial wealth and it’s a part of your
contribution but there is more to give as well.  It doesn’t always have to involve money. It can involved the giving of your time unconditionally.

Contribution is about the needs of the spirit and in my humble opinion. It cannot be ignored. I know all too well the price of ignoring it. It’s resulted in drug use in the past, unfilled sex and over all neglecting of my physical self.

Personally I know the costs and they are greater than I care to pay.

Don’t forget to go to www.billphillips.com and watch the 5 stories and let me know if you don’t feel at least
inspired to contribute to someones life.

No matter how big or how small you contribute in the beginning, it’s the act that matters in the beginning to me.

Starting is better than not doing.

If you’re not nurtuing your spirit through contribution then you’re
seriously missing some amazing stuff. ;-)
